Integrated Studies in Action

So I brought a copy of this article to Scott...but I thought all of us might enjoy it.

http://www.wired.com/culture/culturereviews/magazine/15-11/st_lehrer

This guy Jonah Lehrer says that science and art should work together because they both are searching for truth. I thought it dovetailed nicely with the Richard Rorty stuff we were studying a few weeks back.

That's a great interview. I wish it would have been a bit longer. I'd like to know more about this guy and his ideas. Great post!

Loved the article. In Alex's Humanities 2020 class last semester we were constantly talking about how, many times, artists and scientist are working on the same problems and questions at the same time..., and a lot of times coming to, or projecting, very similar conclusions. I'll have to look through my book of notes/scraps from that class and share some examples from what we talked about.
